Bonnie

I hire interns, and I always like to ask "What's your dream job?" Not the job they think they will get, or where they hope to start their career, but pie-in-sky, no constraints, dream job. I think it tells you a lot about someone and the answers always surprise me.

Bonnie,
That's a really good question too. I've asked applicants similar questions and am always intrigued by their responses. If their dream job is something completely different than what they're applying for, it usually makes me wonder if they'd be happy in the actual job.

On strengths and weaknesses - I usually give employment related such as punctual, reliable etc( who wants to sound arrogant ?)

weaknesses- I usually say - We all have areas we need to work on and improve and rather than get discouraged and dwell on them- I like to learn ways to improve and change- becoming a better employee and person
